Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment.
• Assess patient conditions, prioritize care, and implement appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately in Epic electronic health record system.
• Float within scope to sister facilities as needed, including MUSC Health Columbia NE or Downtown.
• Maintain compliance with all clinical protocols and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina license or Compact license in hand prior to start.
• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALs certifications.
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred.
• Epic charting experience required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in Trauma Level I & II facilities.
• Ability to work a block schedule if approved prior to assignment.
• Flexibility to float among like units or sister facilities.
