Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care and therapy treatments.
• Implement therapy plans and monitor patient progress under supervision.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and patient responses.
• Support patient mobilization, exercise, and equipment setup as directed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and facility protocols.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification in the state of Alabama.
• Prior experience working in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to follow clinical instructions and work effectively in a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in skilled nursing or rehab facilities.
• Familiarity with therapy equipment and patient care techniques.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
