Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and recovery.
- Monitor vital signs and assist with medical procedures related to childbirth.
- Educate patients on childbirth, lactation, and postpartum care.
- Offer emotional support to patients and their families throughout the labor process.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Document patient care activities accurately and promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience in labor and delivery nursing preferred.
- Ability to monitor vital signs and assist with medical procedures.
- Strong communication and emotional support skills.
- Knowledge of childbirth and postpartum care protocols.
- CPR certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in a maternity or labor and delivery unit.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
