- Full-time, travel, days (7A-7P), 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for surgical and cardiac patients on a Medical Surgical unit.
- Monitor patient conditions using remote telemetry and interpret ECG strips.
- Administer cardiac drips such as amio, dilt, and heparin as needed.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure a high standard of patient care and safety.
- Follow unit policies and procedures, including EMR documentation in MediTech.
- Support unit initiatives to maintain a high-energy, team-focused environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, preferably in a Medical Surgical or telemetry setting.
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips.
- Experience with post-op surgical patients and cardiac drips.
- Strong work ethic, high energy, and a fun personality.
- Availability to work 7AM-7PM shifts.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification.
- Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced hospital environment.
- Familiarity with remote telemetry equipment and MediTech EMR system.
