Key Responsibilities

• Provide dialysis nursing care for patients in a Level I Trauma Center and teaching hospital setting.
• Manage patient treatments according to physician orders, monitoring vital signs and machine operation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including weekday evening shifts every four weeks.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and equipment usage guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina or Compact Nursing License in hand prior to start date.
• At least 1 year of recent acute dialysis experience.
• BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred.
• Experience with Fresenius 2008T and mobile Reverse Osmosis machines is a plus.
• Ability to commit to every other weekend working schedule and on-call responsibilities.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center or teaching hospital environment.
• Comfort working with electronic charting systems, preferably Epic.
• Open to first-time dialysis RNs willing to learn and adapt.
