Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill liver and transplant patients in the ICU
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately
- Ensure compliance with infection control standards and safety protocols
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia
- ICU experience, with specific experience in liver or transplant care highly preferred
- Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, critical care settings
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior transplant ICU experience highly desirable
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
