Registered Nurse - Endoscopy/GI
Location: Wichita, KS
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days, Travel assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care in the endoscopy suite, including circulating and assisting with procedures such as EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, and EBUS.
• Prepare and operate Olympus endoscopes and reprocessing equipment, ensuring equipment safety and functionality.
• Support patients through pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure phases with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with physicians and surgical teams to deliver efficient and high-quality procedural care.
• Utilize EMR systems to document procedures, patient information, and care activities accurately.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a team-oriented environment during complex, high-acuity cases.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Endoscopy RN, circulating and assisting with GI procedures.
• Ability to operate Olympus endoscopes and reprocessors.
• Strong understanding of intraoperative and perioperative nursing practices.
• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Flexibility to work one night per week and every 4th-6th weekend as part of on-call responsibilities.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Pre- and post-operative care experience.
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic medical records.
• Experience handling interventional and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
