- Full-time, night shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Manage high acuity patients requiring continuous cardiac and respiratory monitoring
- Provide care for populations such as sepsis, diabetic ketoacidosis, post-open heart procedures, and patients on continuous non-invasive ventilation (BiPAP/CPAP)
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for critically ill patients
- Serve as an advocate and educator for patients and their families
- Respond swiftly to changes in hemodynamics or respiratory status to ensure patient safety
Required Qualifications
- Current licensed registered nurse (RN) practicing in the state of Maryland
- Valid American Heart Association BLS & ACLS certifications
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in intermediate or step-down care units handling high-acuity patients
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
