Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to ER patients, including those with urgent and non-urgent conditions.
- Float between Intensive Care Coordination (ICC) and Emergency Department (ED) units as needed.
- Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for patient documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Assist with patient assessments, administer treatments, and support discharge planning.
- Maintain compliance with all safety and clinical protocols, including certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience.
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records.
- Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
- Ability to float between units and adapt to varied patient needs.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience caring for hematology, oncology, and sickle cell patients.
- Familiarity with special procedures related to ICC and ED settings.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with patients and staff.
