Key Responsibilities
• Provide respiratory therapy services to patients across all age groups, including ICU and emergency department floors.
• Manage and operate advanced respiratory equipment such as ventilators (Hamilton C3, T1), NIV (V60), Airvo 2, F&P Heated HFNC, and Bubble CPAP.
• Collaborate with Pulmonary Critical Care physicians and hospital staff to develop and implement patient-specific ventilation and airway management protocols.
• Perform external transports for adult critical care patients.
• Document all patient care activities thoroughly within the EPIC system, ensuring compliance with facility requirements.
• Assist with bedside procedures including nebulizer treatments, airway clearance, bronchodilator therapy, and NIV management.
Required Qualifications
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license on file at time of submission.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in respiratory therapy, including NICU/PICU involvement.
• Neonate and pediatric critical care experience required, with significant role in NICU/PICU patient care.
• Recent EPIC electronic medical record experience (within past 2 years).
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation, and vehicle equipped with all-season or snow tires during winter months.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in Level 2 trauma centers or teaching hospitals.
• Familiarity with hospital-specific procedures such as EKGs, venipuncture, and infusion protocols.
• Previous travel therapy or interim staffing experience preferred.

Additional Notes
• Travel rate is $105 for applicants residing 51–100 miles from the facility; local rate is $95 for those within 50 miles.
• All scheduled shifts include every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed.
• No block scheduling; staff must be flexible with weekly scheduling.
• Orientation: 3 days of facility-specific training.
• Reliable, personal transportation is required.
