Location: Burlington, VT
Schedule / Job Type: Rotating shifts, full-time, on-site

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the operating room setting.
• Circulate and scrub in various surgical procedures, including trauma, orthopedics, urology, oncology, ENT, plastics, neuro, CV, and dental surgeries.
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.
• Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures, maintaining a sterile environment.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, including holiday and weekend shift coverage requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of recent experience as a registered nurse in a hospital setting.
• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred.
• Large trauma Level I experience required.
• EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience within the past 2 years.
• Ability to circulate and scrub, with skills checklists available.
• Proven experience in general OR, orthopedics, urology, oncology, neuro, cardiac, trauma, and Da Vinci Robotics procedures.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working in a Level I trauma center.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and call shifts.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
