Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe and competent care to patients in the Step Down and Med-Surg Telemetry units.
• Float between assigned units as needed to support patient care.
• Administer and titrate cardiac and insulin drips accurately.
• Act as Charge Nurse when required.
• Document patient care using Meditech system with precision.
• Utilize Omnicell medication system for medication administration.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Step Down, IMC, or Telemetry units.
• Proficient in Foley catheter insertion, subcutaneous insulin administration, managing potassium runs, and interpreting cardiac monitors.
• Ability to identify and report low potassium levels and oxygen saturations.
• Active certifications: ACLS and BCLS.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is a plus.
• Experience working in smaller hospital settings with intermediate patient care.
• First-time travelers welcomed.
