Respiratory Therapist
Location: Anchorage, AK
Schedule / Job Type: Night shifts / Contract (26 or 13 weeks)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory therapy for pediatric and adult patients in a Level 2 trauma hospital.
• Manage a variety of therapies including NIV, high flow oxygen, nebulizers, nitric oxide, and specialized ventilators.
• Collaborate with medical team to deliver critical care in ICU, PICU, and NICU settings.
• Float within scope to meet patient care needs across adult ICU, PICU, and NICU units.
• Support open heart surgeries and post-operative respiratory care.
• Adhere to facility protocols and safety standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Current certification in BLS, CRT, and NRBC.
• Minimum of 2 years of critical care or trauma experience.
• Valid state license or willingness to obtain license in Alaska.
• Experience with NICU or PICU respiratory therapies preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with advanced ventilators such as Draeger, Servo-I, 3100A/B, and jet ventilators.
• Knowledge of NICU and PICU respiratory care protocols.
