Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 13-week contract, day shift, weekdays (Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.), on-call rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Provide home health nursing care to patients in a community setting.
- Field patient questions and provide appropriate guidance during on-call hours.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends, with required after-hours visits as needed.
- Ensure patient safety and compliance with healthcare standards.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in accordance with agency protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably with home health or travel experience.
- Ability to participate in rotating on-call duties, including weekends.
- Must meet flu vaccination requirements, with medical exemption options available with proper documentation.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in home health care.
- Experience with on-call responsibilities in a healthcare setting.
