Registered Nurse - ICU
Location: Columbus, OH
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Dayshift, 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert patient care in various ICU units, including Neuro, Surgical, Medical (MICU x2), Cardiology, CVICU, SICU, and NCCU.
- Float to different ICU specialties based on staffing needs and patient acuity, ensuring optimal care delivery.
- Monitor and manage ventilators, IV therapy, and telemetry for critically ill patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system.
- Experience with IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Previous travel nursing experience in ICU settings.
- Ability to adapt to various ICU environments and patient needs.
