Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care to critically ill patients in various ICU settings, including neuro, surgical, medical, cardiology, CVICU, SICU, and NCCU.
• Float between units based on staffing needs and patient acuity, maintaining flexibility to meet departmental requirements.
• Monitor, assess, and respond to patient needs, ensuring high-quality care and safety.
• Administer medications, ventilator management, and IV starts in accordance with best practices and protocols.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records using EPIC.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic health records system.
• Experience with IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management.
• Ability to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience.
• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
