Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult and geriatric surgical oncology, hepatobiliary, colorectal, and plastic surgery patients.
- Administer chemotherapy, blood transfusions, IV antibiotics, and manage oncologic emergencies.
- Monitor and respond to cytokine release syndrome, insulin, and heparin drips.
- Follow strict infection prevention protocols and patient fall precautions.
- Document care accurately using EPIC electronic health records.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a surgical or medical-surgical setting.
- Current RN license in Ohio.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- NIHSS certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Oncology experience, including chemotherapy administration.
- Knowledge of EPIC electronic charting system.
- Experience with complex patient care on a busy surgical floor.
