Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.
- Assist in the preparation and management of surgical equipment and supplies.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Monitor patient status during procedures and respond to emergent needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the OR electronic medical record system.
- Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and best practices for surgical nursing.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience.
- Experience working as a Charge Nurse in the OR.
- Trauma Level II experience preferred.
- Ability to work the day shift (9:00 AM – 9:00 PM).
- Strong communication and flexible personality suitable for a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with general OR surgeries, neuro/spine, CVT, ortho, GYN, and robotics procedures.
- Familiarity with Meditech OR EMR system.
- Ability to adapt to new equipment and technologies.
