Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for adult patients in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU).
• Manage complex conditions such as hemorrhagic and hypovolemic shock, sepsis, strokes, and post-craniotomy care.
• Utilize advanced monitoring techniques including ICP monitoring and EVD management.
• Administer and titrate vasopressors, mechanical ventilation, and other critical procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of ICU experience, specifically in SICU settings.
• Valid nursing license and credentials.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology experience is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of external ventricular drain management and CRRT is advantageous.
• Experience in managing complex critical care procedures and patient diagnoses listed.
