Registered Nurse - Mother Baby/Postpartum

Schedule / Job Type
Night shift, 3/12-hour shifts, every other weekend and holiday rotation. Temporary assignment with potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to antepartum, postpartum, and mother-baby patients with telemetry or continuous pulse oximetry.
• Monitor and interpret fetal monitoring and dysrhythmias.
• Administer postpartum magnesium and manage postpartum complications, including IUFD.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality maternal and neonatal care.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record system.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent postpartum and telemetry experience.
• Epic electronic health record experience.
• Proficient in dysrhythmia interpretation.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring.
• Must have current Flu vaccination.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for Postpartum patients with additional telemetry needs.
• Ability to float within the organization as required.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
