• Rotating shifts, full-time, 12-hour days/nights, rotating biweekly

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac patients and responding to emergencies.
• Float to various units including ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units as needed.
• Adhere to unit protocols and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Document patient information accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Follow all hospital policies, including compliance with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Required Qualifications

• Valid BLS (AHA) certification.
• Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts.
• Experience with telemetry or cardiac monitoring preferred.
• Ability to work rotating day/night shift schedules.
• Willingness to work every other weekend and rotate shifts every 4 weeks.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Level 1 trauma center is preferred.
• Additional certifications such as ACLS (AHA) and NIHSS are a plus.
• Flexibility to float to different units and handle variable patient loads.

Note: Must have been separated from BILH for at least six months to be considered. Contract includes guaranteed hours of 72 biweekly, excluding on-call time. Shifts are scheduled on a weekly start basis, with floating in 4-hour blocks as needed. No holiday time off will be approved during the assignment.
