Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery
Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (L&D)

Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 8-week travel assignment, Nights shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care for laboring and postpartum patients in a busy L&D unit.
- Circulate during cesarean sections and assist with patient monitoring and care documentation.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient flow and safety.
- Follow unit policies for documentation, infection control, and patient safety.
- Adhere to facility dress code and appearance standards, including scrubs, hair, and body art policies.
- Complete assigned shifts, including weekends, with no guaranteed hours beyond scheduled work.
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, FM, AWHONN.
- Proficiency in Meditech documentation system.
- Ability to circulate during C-sections.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- RNC certification.
- Additional experience with advanced skills in obstetrics nursing.
- Knowledge of unit-specific policies and procedures.
