Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to ER patients, managing acute and urgent conditions.
• Float between ICU and Emergency Department units as needed, supporting patient care across both areas.
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system to document patient information accurately.
• Administer certifications-based interventions including BCLS, ACLS, and NIHSS protocols.
• Assist with patient assessments and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely care.
• Support patients with diagnoses such as sickle cell crisis, fever, abdominal pain, anemia, and dehydration.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years ER nursing experience.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Valid BCLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to float between ICU and ER units as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in Oncology or hematology units is a plus.
• Strong critical thinking and patient management skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
