Key Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient rehabilitation nursing care in a 20-bed facility, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Perform standard nursing duties including IV starts/stops, wound care, telemetry monitoring, Foley care, and medication administration
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, dressing, and activities of daily living
- Educate patients and their families about medication reconciliation and discharge planning
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient care accurately in the Meditech electronic medical record system
Required Qualifications
- Valid nursing license
- BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Experience with start/stop IVs, wound care, telemetry, Foley care, and medication pass
- Ability to work in a fast-paced inpatient rehab environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an inpatient rehab facility or skilled nursing unit
- Familiarity with rehab-specific equipment and procedures
- Outgoing, energetic, and eager to learn about rehabilitation nursing
