- Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, weekends and holidays as assigned
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient psychiatric care for adult patients in a substance abuse treatment facility
- Assess patient conditions using tools like CIWA and COWS; administer UAs and monitor responses
- Maintain professional boundaries while offering compassionate, patient-centered care
- Collaborate with a team of behavioral health professionals, including techs and physicians
- Document care and patient progress accurately in the electronic health record system
- Support a safe environment for voluntary patients, with no restraints, secure on-call procedures in place
Required Qualifications
- Current BLS certification
- CPI certification
- Minimum of 12 months experience in an inpatient rehab or psychiatric setting with COWS and CIWA protocols
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior psychiatric care experience highly desired
