Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical environment, floating between medical and surgical/oncology units.
• Maintain appropriate patient ratios, ensuring quality care for 5-6 patients per nurse.
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including EMR documentation using Epic.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Respond to patient needs promptly, ensuring safety and comfort during night shifts.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience in a hospital setting.
• Prior travel or float experience required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to float between medical and surgical/oncology units.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working within a hospital’s float pool or travel nursing.
• Strong communication skills and adaptability to different unit protocols.
