- Days, Full-time, 4x9s (Monday-Thursday), 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Fridays, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized wound care to patients, including assessments and management of pressure ulcers, venous and neuropathic ulcers, and other complex wounds
- Perform skin and mucous membrane assessments, including stages 1-4 ulcers, tunneling, undermining, and necrotic debris
- Administer treatments such as wound cultures, dressing changes, debridement, and wound vac therapy
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient progress and ensure compliance with infection control protocols
- Utilize EPIC electronic health records for documentation and patient management
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of wound care experience
- BLS certification
- Experience with EPIC EMR system
- Knowledge of wound assessment and management including pressure ulcers, arterial and venous ulcers, and skin integrity
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Clinic-based wound care experience
- Familiarity with hyperbaric oxygen therapy and advanced debridement techniques
- Experience in nutritional assessment related to wound healing
