Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients in skilled nursing facilities
- Provide routine therapeutic interventions and exercises to patients to improve mobility and function
- Monitor and document patient progress in accordance with established protocols
- Ensure the safe and effective delivery of physical therapy services
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and treatment plans to support recovery
Required Qualifications
- Valid license or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Minimum of 1 year of professional SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility) experience
- Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and patient care standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a licensed Skilled Nursing Facility setting
- Knowledge of Medicare and insurance documentation processes
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
