Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Location: Chillicothe, OH
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.), 5 days per week, includes "On-Call" responsibilities (2 weeks per month, 1-hour response time)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing open heart surgery and other surgical procedures
• Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the care team, physicians, and patients’ families
• Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to hospital policies and procedures
• Utilize electronic medical records (EPIC) and medication dispensing systems (PYXIS) to support clinical workflows

Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Previous experience in an Operating Room setting, specifically with open heart surgery preferred
• Ability to respond promptly during on-call periods (1-hour response time)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working within a CVOR department
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records and PYXIS medication systems
