Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shift (12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM), 36 or 48 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to mothers and newborns in a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit
• Monitor fetal heart rates and respond to high-risk cases with autonomy
• Assist with labor, delivery, and postnatal procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including float to MedSurg, CNA, or administrative roles as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation using Centricity and Meditech Magic systems
• Support higher acuity patients in a small, autonomous department with higher-risk cases

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of recent labor and delivery experience
• Valid nursing license
• Experience with fetal heart monitoring
• Certifications: ACLS, NRP, AWHONN, BCLS
• Ability to handle higher acuity cases with autonomy

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience in a small, autonomous unit
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Ability to adapt to float requirements across various departments
