Schedule / Job Type: Days

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in a same-day surgery setting.
• Assist with patient preparation, anesthesia monitoring, and post-operative recovery.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safety and efficiency during procedures.
• Document patient care and surgical details accurately in compliance with hospital standards.
• Assist with patient assessments and respond to clinical needs during shifts.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Illinois.
• Experience in an operating room or perioperative nursing setting.
• Willingness to work within a day shift schedule (9:00 AM - 7:30 PM).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Call responsibilities required during shifts.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) experience.
• Knowledge of same-day surgery protocols and procedures.
