Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care within the Medical Intensive Care, Progressive Care, and Stepdown units.
- Float between various medical and surgical units as needed.
- Administer treatments, monitor patient conditions, and document care efficiently using Meditech EMR and other unit-specific equipment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Follow unit protocols, including maintaining professional nursing attire and adhering to safety standards.
- Complete orientation and unit-specific training prior to start.
Required Qualifications
- Hawaii RN license (must be obtained prior to start).
- 2+ years of nursing experience in critical or acute care settings.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience with Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes preferred.
- Flexibility to float to other units/departments as needed.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS, PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, or ENPC certifications are a plus.
- Experience in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units.
- Knowledge of managing patients with complex conditions in a fast-paced environment.
