Key Responsibilities
- Provide telemetry nursing care to adult patients in an acute care hospital setting.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, medications, and drips, including reading rhythms and managing cardiac medications.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver safe and effective patient care within scope.
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record system.
- Float within scope as needed to meet facility needs.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and protocols to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid nursing license applicable in the state of Missouri (pending license accepted)
- Minimum of 2 years of telemetry nursing experience
- BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) and NIH certifications required
- Must have 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certifications preferred
- Experience with reading cardiac rhythms, medications, and drips (no titration required)
- Ability to float within scope as necessary
