Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room to ensure a sterile and safe environment.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to support procedures including General, Urology, Gynecology, Colorectal, Vascular, Spine, Orthopedic, Robotic, Plastic, and Endoscopic cases.
• Handle a wide range of cases while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Manage up to a 1:1 patient ratio and respond to a 16-hour monthly call requirement, including every third weekend.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with hospital policies.

Required Qualifications

• Current valid RN license in the state of Maryland.
• BLS certification.
• Prior experience in operating room nursing.
• Ability to handle a wide range of surgical procedures with excellent patient care skills.
• Flexibility to participate in call shifts and weekend coverage.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Orthopedic, Robotic, Plastic, or Endoscopic surgeries.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced surgical environment.
