Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in long-term care (LTC) and skilled nursing facilities (SNF).
- Monitor patient health and vital signs, document observations, and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring safety and compliance standards.
- Assist with patient assessments, care planning, and coordination of services.
- Ensure a safe, comfortable environment for residents, adhering to facility policies and regulatory guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South Dakota.
- Proven experience in LTC or SNF settings preferred.
- Strong patient assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
- Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to handle challenging situations professionally.
