Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans on patients of all age groups, including neonates, children, adults, and geriatrics.
- Conduct IV starts, obtain vital signs, and screen patients for MRI safety by reviewing patient charts.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot MRI equipment to ensure optimal image quality and performance.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to support accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist in outpatient or hospital settings.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Proficiency in IV starts, phlebotomy, PACS, and contrast administration.
- Experience operating Siemens MRI equipment and using EPIC documentation system.
- Strong knowledge of various MRI protocols, including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion imaging, and perfusion techniques.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Advanced ARRT certification.
- Familiarity with various MRI techniques such as gradient echo, spin echo, T-1, and T-2 weighted imaging.
