Tech Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer
Job Title
- Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer (Echo/Ultrasound)
Location
- Orangeburg, SC
Schedule / Job Type
- Day shift, full-time, 4x10-hour shifts (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inpatient, outpatient, and ER ultrasound procedures, including general abdominal, OB, small parts, kidney, and vascular scans
- Operate ultrasound equipment and obtain quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Maintain accurate documentation using electronic charting systems
- Collaborate with medical team to ensure timely and accurate patient diagnoses
- Adhere to all safety and radiology protocol requirements, including radiation badge protocols
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of recent ultrasound technologist experience
- Current national certification in ARRT (S) or ARDMS
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Radiation badge provided by staffing agency (not supplied by facility)
- Proficiency with PACS, portable ultrasound, and various ultrasound procedures
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience performing general abdominal, OB, small parts, kidney, and vascular ultrasounds
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to accommodate a block schedule upon approval
