Registered Nurse - Oncology
Location: Columbus, OH
Schedule / Job Type: 12-night shifts (D/N option available), 13-16 week assignment, nights, onsite
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide acute care for patients with newly diagnosed leukemia and hematology conditions, primarily adults and geriatrics
• Administer chemotherapy and manage associated treatments, ensuring strict adherence to infection prevention protocols and patient safety measures
• Monitor patient vital signs and interpret telemetry and dysrhythmias using MS/Tele equipment
• Utilize rapid response teams and perform bedside procedures such as IV therapy, blood draws, catheter care, and central line management
• Follow detailed patient care plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  Required Qualifications:
• Valid RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and ONS Chemo Certification
• Ability to interpret telemetry and dysrhythmias
• Experience with infection control practices and patient fall prevention
  Preferred Experience / Skills:
• NIHSS certification
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
• Knowledge of feeding tube management and blood product administration
• Skilled in PICC line care and starting IVs
