Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Day shifts, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM), with holiday requirements during contracted periods.
• Weekend work required: 4 weekends per 4-week schedule.
• On-call requirements: Not applicable.
• Possible float within scope based on unit needs.
• Local candidates encouraged to apply (within 60 miles), with consideration for case-by-case basis at reduced rate.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care to pediatric patients in a 28-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
• Manage patients with complex diagnoses including respiratory, trauma, post-operative, neurology, and neurosurgical conditions.
• Utilize advanced supportive therapies such as ventilatory, cardiac, ECMO, CRRT, dialysis, and other critical interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including respiratory therapists, dietitians, pharmacists, and auxiliary staff.
• Document patient care using EPIC electronic health record system.
• Adhere to hospital policies and ensure patient safety and comfort.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of PICU experience.
• Valid South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications (American Heart Association accepted).
• Ability to float within scope to meet unit needs.
• Willing to accept first-time travelers.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ECMO and CRRT therapies.
• Pediatric palliative care experience is a plus.
