Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type:
Days, Full-time, 3x12-hour shifts, including weekends
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care in a busy Level I Trauma Center’s Operating Room
- Circulate and scrub on a variety of surgical procedures, including trauma, transplant, orthopedic, neuro, ENT, gynecology, urology, and robotic surgeries
- Maintain patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgical team members, including nurses and Certified Surgical Technologists
- Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and best practices in a fast-paced environment
- Cover assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays, with possible on-call requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Valid SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license
- BLS certification
- Radiation Badge (to be provided by agency)
- Minimum 2 years of operating room nursing experience strongly preferred
- Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Prior scrub experience in surgical settings
- Experience working in a level-one trauma, teaching, or Magnet-designated hospital
- EPIC charting proficiency
