Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Day shift, 36 hours per week, every other weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients on a medical-surgical telemetry unit.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Collaborate with care team members, physicians, and patients' families to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Manage and monitor the care of 5-6 patients, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and exercise independent and collaborative decision-making.
• Assist in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Knowledge of telemetry, patient care procedures, and nursing best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• Experience in medical-surgical units preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing patients with pneumonia, chest pain, trach care, and deconditioning.
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac care.
