Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for neonates in a Level 3 NICU setting.
• Monitor infant vital signs and manage respiratory support, IV therapy, and assessments.
• Administer procedures such as central line placement, circumcisions, and eye exams.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and parent satisfaction.
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CP Trends EMR systems.
• Maintain compliance with unit policies, including dress code and shift protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications.
• Ability to perform infant assessments, IV management, and respiratory support management.
• Flexibility to float to NICU areas, general nursery, or pediatrics as needed.
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to work a minimum of 4 weekends per scheduling period, and holidays as per unit guidelines.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level 4 NICU experience.
• Previous experience working in a hospital employing HCA systems.
