Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed occupational therapists in delivering therapy services to patients.
- Implement treatment plans and therapeutic activities designed to support patient recovery and functional improvement.
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any changes to supervising therapists.
- Ensure compliance with safety and confidentiality standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide cohesive patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA).
- State licensure or registration as required.
- Basic knowledge of therapeutic techniques and patient care standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in outpatient or inpatient settings.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
