Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed occupational therapists in providing therapy services to patients
• Implement treatment plans and therapeutic activities as prescribed
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to therapy
• Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment
• Collaborate with team members to support patient care goals
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies

Required Qualifications

• Valid certification or license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in New Mexico
• Previous experience working in a healthcare or therapy setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Knowledge of therapy techniques and documentation standards

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience assisting with therapy sessions in a similar setting
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
