Full-time, night shift (7PM - 7AM), temporary with potential for permanent placement

Key Responsibilities

• Provide independent nursing care in an operating room setting, including pre-operative and post-operative patient management.
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, procedures, medications, and care activities accurately.
• Assess patient needs, including psychological, emotional, cultural, and social factors, providing education to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate leadership by effectively managing clinical contingencies and delegating tasks as appropriate.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of employment or compact licensure.
• BLS certification.
• At least 1 year of experience in surgical or operating room nursing preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with orthopedic, joint replacement, fracture, shoulder, or podiatry cases.
• Ability to float to Med/Surg/tele units as needed.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
