Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered nursing care on a multi-specialty telemetry unit.
- Monitor patients with telemetry devices, including those requiring dialysis and acute medical needs.
- Support patients recovering from orthopedic and general surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.
- Float to other units/hospitals as needed, maintaining flexibility and adaptability.
- Administer medications, manage pain, and assist with mobility and complication prevention in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing.
- Current Alabama or Compact registered nurse license (no temporary licenses accepted).
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- At least 1–2 years of recent nursing experience, preferably in telemetry or med-surgical units.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with dialysis, telemetry monitoring, or surgical patient populations.
- Ability to float to different units and adapt to various patient care settings.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to support a collaborative environment.
