Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 13-week contract, nights, includes on-call, weekends, and holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing and respiratory therapeutic support to hospital and outpatient patients
- Support patients requiring ventilatory assistance, respiratory treatments, and diagnostic procedures
- Float between departments and local locations within 20 miles, supporting staffing needs as required
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality respiratory care
- Support specialized areas such as emergency and inpatient units, including PresNow locations
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited respiratory care education program approved by the CoARC
- Current New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications through recognized organizations
- At least one 13-week prior travel assignment
- Minimum of two years of current experience in a specialty setting
- Flexibility and team-oriented attitude, accustomed to fast-paced environments
Preferred Experience / Skills
- EPIC electronic health record system experience (training available on-site)
- Prior experience supporting diverse clinical settings within a hospital environment
