Key Responsibilities
• Provide inpatient respiratory therapy services to adult patients in ICU and emergency department settings.
• Work with adult, ICU, and ED cases, ensuring quality patient care.
• Maintain schedule flexibility, including working weekends as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Work approximately 2 out of 4 major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day.
• Perform duties in a teaching hospital environment with well-documented patient care procedures.

Required Qualifications
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license; CRT will not be accepted.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as an RRT.
• Prior travel experience preferred.
• Recent Epic EMR experience (within the past 2 years).
• Experience in a teaching hospital setting.
• All employment history must be thoroughly documented, including bed count, EMR system used, and facility type.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in inpatient adult ICU and ED settings.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation, personal or rental vehicle, capable of handling winter weather conditions.

Additional Information
• Work schedule includes Monday through Sunday shifts with no block scheduling.

• Reliable transportation is essential; public transit is not accessible in this area. Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April.
