Full-time, evening shift (3 PM - 11:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric nursing care for highly acute patients in a locked unit setting
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting accurately in medical records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with safety and confidentiality standards
- Respond to patient needs promptly and effectively
Required Qualifications - Illinois nursing license (IL Lic)
- Minimum of 2 years of psychiatric hospital experience
- CPR certification
- CPI certification (must be submitted at the time of application)
- Epic EMR system experience
- Ability to work in high-acuity, locked unit environments
Preferred Experience / Skills - Experience with highly acute psychiatric patients
- Familiarity with CANTS forms and procedures
- Flexibility to float between units as needed
- Experience in a hospital setting with similar patient populations
