Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in an IMC/PCU/Stepdown setting utilizing the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient needs and responses.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team to coordinate care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring documentation compliance.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education regarding discharge needs.
• Supervise and provide guidance to LPNs and non-licensed staff as needed.
• Float between departments and/or local locations within a 20-mile radius.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Nursing license in the State of New Mexico or a compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in an 18+ bed telemetry/progressive care unit.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from recognized organizations.
• Successful passing of onsite Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) test.
• One or more of the following degrees: Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Prior completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment.
• Epic EMR system experience.
